Virtually all examples of this “aesthetic” are stick thin, wispy white women with blonde hair. Posters aspiring for “quiet luxury” always cite Goop, Caroline Kennedy, etc as role models. I don’t know why - American old money has such a puritanical/martyr-like background. Personally I prefer a Crazy Rich Asian wealth - or Becca Bloom - but I also aim to age like Iris Apfel, who was anything but understated. [/quote]
