I don’t understand the options - it seems like each of Option 1 and 2 in the page that someone linked upthread has different “sub options?” Like option 1, 7:45-2:30 elementary is bad but 8:10-2:55 is fine. Option 2, elementary 9-3:45 is fine (more or less what most schools have now anyway) but 9:50-4:35 is total ass. How are there 2 options under each option?[/quote]
Because they don't have enough busses to start every elementary school at exactly the same time.  Roughly half are lucky and get the early start times and everyone else gets screwed.[/quote]

It's not really about luck, it's about programming. AAP centers and various special needs centers (like the deaf and hard of hearing pyramid) will get the late time because buses have to come from all over the county. Regular neighborhood schools will get the earlier times. Everyone should already be able to tell which their school is.[/quote]

There absolutely are some AAP centers that start 9:20-can’t name off top head, but if you search old threads on DCuM or go to BoardDocs, they list times by school for all ES in one of the presentations last year[/quote]

For example, Keene Mill starts at 9:15 and White Oaks at 9:20. [/quote]
