She’s totally insane. If I were her psychiatrist I’d have a field day. I think the fact that it was her only male embryo completely broke her brain, given her lived experience of her dad leaving her mom once his mistress had a male heir… plus her Chinese heritage and the value she probably placed on having a son… plus her need to control everything in her life and this being one of the most important experiences in her life and her being unable to control the outcome (and feeling like she ceded control to someone who killed her child)… all leading her to depart from reality, civility, and appropriate grief processing.

If I were the surrogate, I’d consider suing the agency for placing me with someone who never should’ve been able to secure a surrogate without intense counseling beforehand.   [/quote]
