First, I don’t think there was any mention of the family’s failed lawsuits against RC. Second, the family was scammed out of a lot of money by someone claiming to have seen Amy and who was going to rescue her. [/quote] I think the lawsuits were dismissed because the family maintained she was alive yet were trying to get damages for her death. RC apparently introduced 100 witness sightings to suggest she left intentionally rather than under nefarious circumstances. This is a strange case.[/quote]
