Here’s a video of Tucker Carlson indoctrinating young conservatives this week with left wing populist messaging about the economy and how it’s not working for the middle class with “normal jobs”: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DMEQX6dv9NI/?igsh=MTlxdzZheGt6MHRpOA==
My kids are struggling to find jobs with health insurance. One has one but it is shaky. Other does not What Tucker is discussing is fact And a key reason why Democrats lost.
Exactly. Come January, anyone buying health insurance on the open market is going to see their premiums rise by 75 percent. 75 percent! Obviously Republicans suck, but when was the last time anyone heard a Democrat talk about health insurance. Who gives a damn about diversity quotas and trans rights and restorative justice and equity and globalizing the intifada when you can't afford to see a doctor? The misplaced priorities of Democrats is absolutely breathtaking. There is mass disgust in this country with both Republicans and Democrats because neither give a damn about working and middle class Americans. And progressives are just as rotten as MAGA.
Me me! I heard Harris talk about it at her debate with the felon. I guess you were washing your hair?!?! She also recounted how many times in his first term he tried to abolish the ACA in case people were continuously washing their hair from 2016-2020.
So you're saying some throwaway line in a debate from an accidental candidate in a losing election that could be missed while washing your hair is what America should be focusing on? That's the answer? What is Chuck Schumer's health care policy? What is Hakeem Jeffries health care policy? They are the leaders of the Democratic Party. And I hear nothing from them or any other Democrat when it comes to real world issues that affect the middle class. You people who work for government or Big Law or Fortune 500 companies love idly ignoring the concerns of Americans on different paths - creatives, consultants, small business people, gig economy people, young people kicked off their parents insurance - the vast majority of Americans. You simply wave dismissively. When I think of Democrats today, I think of the capital city in the Hunger Games - flamboyantly privileged people. Let them suffer seems to be the mantra of Democrats today. The point is Democrats are not offering an alternative to MAGA tribalism. It's a completely useless party in 2025. The plan seems to be Trump sucks, and we'll just wait it out and get back to the Biden glory years when we can wave our do-gooder flags and do f**k all for the working and middle class for another four years while the country rots. And I don't think that's going to be a winning plan going forward. Even after all the Trump garbage, most Americans still hate Democrats more. They offer nothing to most Americans except a giant We Hate You and Hope You Suffer More. The post-Obama Democratic Party is rotten to the core. At least with Republicans, I can understand both their greed and their anger. Democrats are just parasitical Washington creatures who care about nothing at all. It's only a game for them.
I don't agree with everything that PP said but the bolded is absolutely true. I frankly don't hear anything from party leadership on any real issues. They didn't even get any attention for whatever noise they made on BBB (Schumer and Jaffries seemed more distraught about Mamdani). There's finally a wedge in MAGA over Epstein and Pelosi is calling it a "distraction" instead of using it as way to pull in disaffected voters. So much damage and at this point the Dem establishment seems complicit.
