Suspect in antisemitic Boulder attack was in the US illegally, DHS says Here's what we know • Colorado attack: A man used a flamethrower and Molotov cocktails to set people on fire Sunday at a Jewish community event in Boulder, Colorado, held in support of hostages in Gaza. He injured at least eight people ranging in age from 52 to 88 — including a Holocaust survivor — before being detained. • Suspect identified: The FBI identified the lone suspect as Mohamed Sabry Soliman and said he yelled “Free Palestine!” during the attack. He faces multiple felony charges and is expected to appear in court later this afternoon. • Suspect’s history: Soliman had applied for asylum in the US and was denied a visa to enter the country in 2005, sources told CNN. He was in the US illegally, a Homeland Security official said today. The suspect entered the US in August 2022 as a non-immigrant visitor and was granted a two-year work authorization in March 2023. That visa expired earlier this year. • Community outcry: Jewish leaders called for action against attacks on their community in the wake of rising antisemitic violence and threats. Less than two weeks ago, two Israeli Embassy staff members were shot dead in Washington, DC, by an attacker who yelled “Free Palestine!” while being arrested. https://www.cnn.com/us/li...k-06-01-25 Wish they would have gotten this guy before he took his homemade flame thrower and burned a bunch of innocent people.
The trump administration is going to blame every crime (except the ones they area committing) on someone here illegally. this is an ongoing lie campagin to get people to allow for martial law and the suspension of elections in 2026 and thereafter. Book it.
So the guy burning innocent elderly American Jewish people with molotov cocktails and a homemade flame thrower was a good guy, according to democratic pp. Figures.
Typical MAGA. You invent a narrative in your head and run with it as fact. Where is anyone defending that POS? No one is. Everyone is saying that if DHS-ICE focused their resources on tracking down those who overstayed their Visas, he might have been off the streets by now. And immediately after he does, DHS is able to give a lengthy history on him and say that he's been making plans like this for a year. In an entire year, no one noticed? No red flags went up? I call BS. Why not? We need answers immediately.
Biden knew he had overstated his visa yet gave this Jew hating terrorist a work permit!
Why wouldn’t Biden know? ICE should know and go get him.
Once we get back to doing science again, will be able to study in depth the Maga Biden, delusions
Explain how someone with a pending asylum case and a work visa issued by Biden could have been deported by Trump without some circuit court putting a hold on it.
This is the crux of the immigration issue. Trump is working to get illegal aliens out of our country and democrats are working desperately to prevent him from doing that and keeping illegal aliens here - even those who have committed violent crimes. Quite a stark difference.
DP. It’s not an either or. You can still give people a chance to be heard before deporting them. For example by hiring more asylum officers and immigration judges. But instead they’d rather waste money by illegally firing a bunch of feds and then paying them out down the line because they didn’t want to use appropriate procedures.
They are here illegally. If they wanted to apply for asylum, they could have done that when they showed up. Instead they wait until they are caught. This is just an attempt to avoid deportation, not actual fear of something from which they are requesting sanctuary.
The ones who are being apprehended are being "caught" at the courts and jobs, you know, doing the right thing and being apprehended anyhow.
