My kid chose Tufts over a more prestigious and well-known school because he felt it would be a better environment for him academically and socially. (And also religiously… he spoke with Jewish students and Hillel staff at several schools and really connected with one of the rabbis at Tufts.) He doesn’t attend until next year so we shall see. He also had some nice offers from large state schools, including our flagship but price was not a concern for us. If it were he would happily be attending our state school honors college.[/quote]
