Apologies to the poster saying he did it screaming and chastising. I'm interested in the post above telling everyone he has turned players into professional footballers.
Not difficult to find out. I know of three in NWSL, several in USL and several in European leagues. And no where did I say that NM turned anyone into a pro. No coach turns players into pros. What any successful program does is create an environment where motivated players are given the opportunity to excel. Having exposure to several local ECNL and GA clubs, McLean under CW and NM created such an environment. I literally watched as some of Bethesda’s top players left the program before junior and senior years after being frustrated with the dysfunction within the club. I think NM’s track record speaks for itself.
Here is a list of all of the players he's sent to play NCAA. Good luck finding another coach around here with a list like this : https://totalfutbol.com/college-soccer
“He’s sent?” It says total futbol staff.
Nadir owns TF. Surely other coaches deserve some credit but it is under him and his coaches that those kids went to play in college.
Most good players get to where they want to go because they are talented and work on their own outside of these coaches...a lot good players jump around to different clubs and coaches...if your daughter is not fast, skilled and in many cases strong/tough enought to play college it doesn't matter anyway. Most parents are grasping and hoping the coach makes their dreams come true...which they won't.
Obviously but playing in the right league and under a coach with connections to colleges will make it 90% easier. Girls playing RL under coaches who have never dealt with college recruiting are going to have a much more difficult time than a girl playing ECNL under a coach with a long list of college coach contacts. Obviously the talent is the most important but how easy the process is has everything to do with having the right contacts and playing in the right league.
Source for 90% easier, please. Or is that simply a number you pulled from a dark and cavernous place a few feet below your head to make you sound like an expert?
Google it. All the recruiting experts will tell you this. Some stats from the first 100 verbal commits of the 2026 class : ECNL and GA have 100% of Power 4 commits so far and 97% of the D1.
