Let’s say I sell my Tesla. What over brands do I need to avoid in order to be in good standing with the “progressive” American Taliban? Zero chance I am selling my Tesla. But I am curious.
I love that this very complex concept is so hard for you. Are there any other brands whose CEO is helping to dismantle democracy? Are they dishing out Nazi salutes on TV? Do they have a board that enables the Nazi? No? You are good to go. Yes? It’s Tesla. It’s a pretty simple algorithm. Sure, by all means, keep it. Get yourself a flag of southern surrender for the roof and start bootlegging for all I care. Jump a couple of bridges. It’s about crashing the stock, it’s not about you.
Well, it is complicated--for me, at least. My federal agency just let me go. Money is short, and now I need to sell my car at a loss to keep my babies safe fro protesters and maybe get to talk to my neighbors again. I doubt any of this will hurt Elon.
I’m an organizer for a Tesla Takedown (not GT). Our goal is to use the TT to get normies comfortable in taking action, less about Teslas. I know we won’t tank his stock because it’s a meme stock, devoid of reality. our “guidelines” specifically state that we are protesting Elon Musk and not Tesla drivers. I find it incredibly privileged for protestors to advocate selling a car especially in this environment with so many losing their jobs. People who bought Teslas before January thought they were doing good.
If you find it incredibly privileged for protestors to advocate for the working class to sell their cars and if you are against private property damage and harassment of ordinary citizens then you should stop organizing these protests and put yourself out of business. You are a part of the problem if you are so dumb as to not realize that this activity pegs Americans against other Americans. It’s become PERSONAL. Do you think I will be sympathetic to your cause if you feel entitled to my property, or harass me on the road? This isn’t even about Tesla, it’s making politics personal, dividing people, forcing them to “identify” themselves in ordinary everyday life circumstances and fight it out amongst each other. You are already despised because you make me scared using a car I paid for that I purchased BEFORE this election. This is your “win”. You won. I am driving my dirty diesel. Enjoy the smell and choke on it. YOU spread this hatred, you are responsible for creating more anger, but this isn’t anger against Elon or the brand. It’s anger of people against people.
Ok. lol.
