You are living in the past.  Wisconsin is hot among high schoolers.  Cornell is the exact opposite.  As for job opportunities, let the results speak for themself.  We actively recruit Wisconsin grads.[/quote]

What cheesehead planet are you living on?  Here's some actual data.  No one is picking U. Wisconsin over Cornell, unless they live in Wisconsin and it would save their parents a bundle on tuition.

Can you provide any data that there is a meaningful difference in graduates?  My firm has blacklisted Cornell from our recruitment program after multiple bad hires but is actively recruiting from Wisconsin.  The job market is what matters.[/quote]

You are the one who has provided nothing but opinion.  My firm is rather large and has extensive hiring experience with college graduates.

Out of state acceptance into Cornell is not harder.  You fail to understand what an acceptance rate means.  It often just means more applications from under qualified students, such as international students or students looking for financial aid.

Actually, I didn't go to either Cornell or Wisconsin.  But your claims were surprising, so I looked for the available data, and they show you are incorrect--Wisconsin is not superior to Cornell, according to available data.
