Many of the kids are going to NVA for MLS next.
Why wouldn't Arlington kids go to Alexandria for MLS Next? It must be closer for a lot of them. (I'm an Alexandria parent, hoping to learn why top level kids choose to go elsewhere. And hoping the higher-ups see the reasons.)
They prefer going to SYC over Alexandria. also not all age groups but overall communication is very poor at Alexandria.
Alexandria is not doing well, people talk, and it is evident by the results.
Results only? My experience with communication at Alexandria has been good. In fact, the organization/administration side of it has been their strong suit. Much better than SYC if that's the comparison. Not the results, for sure. But winning isn't a great reason to pick or choose a club. If the best kids played there, they'd win. Sometimes it's that simple. Are they failing to develop or attract the best players? what specifically would cause either to happen?
In other words, what are "people" talking about?
If your kid plays there, you know. Otherwise, you might learn from it on the yearly surveys.
My kid does play there. I think its been a positive experience, for the most part. My son isn't going anywhere. I just think they can do some things better. Lots of potential to be the best club in the area, including results, if they'd invest in the competitive aspects of it more. I'd love it if they'd invest in varying their training, or double down on being a tactical first squad and really install a complex, disciplined tactical system.
