This thread is about elementary parents paying attention to emails [/quote] With four kids ranging from k -7th I would much rather my middle schooler have these times since 1) they like to sleep late and 2) they are old enough to walk themselves to and from the buses. My kindergarten is the first to rise (6am! Yay!) and I’m waking my 7th grader up every day. This will be brutal on working parents esp with the RTO and kids with sports (my son starts soccer at 5pm!!) The before school care is going to be packed.. what a terrible terrible idea by FCPS.
