As a teacher, I have known and loved many people with autism. Obviously, their personalities vary widely. I have known some who could rule the world. I have known others who will never even be able to live independently. Elon has more in common with the latter. Some traits of autism that can make the person a danger to themselves and others - challenges with social cues, lack of interest in social reciprocity, extreme sensory sensitivity, resistance to change, difficulties with social and emotional reasoning, difficulty with self-regulation and emotional control, neurotic, less agreeable and conscientious.

Again, not everyone with autism has these traits. But you can’t *know* that his autism is not a factor. I had a student with autism trash my entire classroom last week because it was time for PE. The room had to be evacuated. This type of behavior is very common with many autistic people. So it is fair to be concerned about him possessing some of those traits and behaviors. [/quote]
