As for President Trump, what a wonderful and compassionate statement to open his second term as President. 1500 people have been given a second chance. Think of how much joy and happiness their families are experiencing this morning. What could be more American than that?[/quote]

Hi Senate employee who was working on Jan 6 in a non-political position serving both parties here. What Trump did by pardoning these criminals is say it is ok to beat cops, terrorize people, and destroy our public buildings/institutions for political gain. It is not ok what he did. It is not ok what the J6 folks did. And the attempt to rewrite history won’t work. I wish nothing but the worst for each of these J6 people. They are the absolute worst Americans in our country. They should be treated as pariah. And you should be ashamed of yourself! Proudly displaying your ignorance is disgusting.[/quote]
