The Bowdoin admission stats average from our Scoir are 4.0 and 1585(!)
Yep.
Just did a deep dive since our 2026 kid is likely to apply ED to one of these from our mostly affluent NJ public school. For Bowdoin, our admission stats averages are 3.9uw/4.37w and 1540/34 over past five years. Overall admit rate 11 percent (8 of 39). Only two kids applied ED, one (ED II) was accepted and one (3.67, no test) was rejected). With over 1500/35, it seems you have a very good chance (only 2 of 15 rejected, 8 accepted, rest waitlisted (outcome unknown). Midd is a tougher admit at our school, but applicants seem to be generally less qualified. Only 5 of 60 applicants got in, and their averages were 3.86u/4.24w and 1341/31 (only 3 submitted). Three out of 11 got in ED. I'm guessing most of the admits were athletes.
