Serious question, assuming you're actually someone in the know: Wasn't the brother 9 or 10 at the time? I could believe he killed her but I find it hard to believe he was so slick he didn't leave a ton of evidence that would be impossible to cover up. Also, why have the investigators not made this public since the brother is now an adult?[/quote]

Np I always thought he did it but parents covered up the crime scene (and feigned surprise when they “found” her). Tons of foot traffic in the home from friends and neighbors after the murder and John picked up and moved her body upstairs before they collected evidence from the scene. I’m not sure what they would have found on her at that point that could have been useful

I do wonder what was going on in that home, though. It sounds like all kids had not just bed wetting but bed soiling issues at pretty old ages.
