You have a PHD but can't run the basketball clock for a 5th grade house game?  People were dropping their kids off for the game and then hiding in their car in the parking lot until the game started to avoid being asked to help out.

I definitely get frustrated by this mentality. On the other hand, if you're not really clear with people up front about volunteer requirements, then don't be surprised you can't magically produce volunteers out of thin air[/quote]
