Glennon's Instagram - One Big Kamala Lovefest. Does not seem like the fans are digging it. I think this is sponsored and she's getting something for allowing the campaign to use her platform as one giant political ad - Glennon is not the only one for sure - but aren't they supposed to disclose that they're partners or paid posts? Discuss.
First I should give the disclaimer that I am not a fan of either candidate for president and I was truly hoping there would be some chance to have a different person running for president as a democrat. I did side eye a bit jumping on the "White women for Kamala" wagon and really how about just "women for Kamala" even if black women already had their own thing. I think Glennon is still trapped in a middle school/high school mentality and will do anything to be in with the cool kids and seem relevant. I would love to see a person of color who is conservative have some fun with all her white guilt BS. I think women need to chose their gurus wisely. Nedra Tawwab is someone who's books I recommend to friends because she is a licensed therapist, she is stable and insightful. Someone like Brene Brown has a Ph.D. and makes proclamations based on actual research. She chooses her words carefully and has a strong sense of self. Glennon seems to think she has all the answers and I don't think anyone should take spiritual and mental health advice from someone who has no advanced degree in the appropriate field or licensure. Plus, Glennon claims mental health issues are in the past or managed and then BOOM a new podcast with a confession of an eating disorder-a new one. Didn't she say she had a personality disorder at one point or was that just armchair diagnoses I read from others?
