The President represents a whole branch of the government. Each SCOTUS ruling no matter how awful (and they’re awful) is one part of a branch of the government. They have to cover the debate performance.

If a second debate happens and Biden really performs and the media doesn’t cover it, then yes I will see them as complicit. But even before the media coverage, people watching the debates were texting each other absolutely horrified. I don’t think the media is applying that horror I think they’re reporting what people really do want to know.[/quote]

Me again: I just thought of a great example of the allegedly liberal media going to sleep on a fairly significant issue in the right wing: Alito’s Christian nationalist flags. The man actually flew two Christian nationalist flags, one over each of his homes. One was an inverted US flag, which, if you know anything about flag code, just isn’t done (unless you’re in actual distress) and one was a flag that he actually had to purchase. There was a few days story and now… nothing. You don’t think it’s telling that someone who is supposed to be above politics has such heinous politics? Colin Kaepernick played a sport and knelt and that was blown up by the media, even though he was kind of a nobody in the sport, making a peaceful point, and had zero power to make decisions that affect every person in the country.
