News Flash: Supposedly, Kelsey's Dad (winner of Joey's season) will be a contestant on the Golden Bachelorette. He doesn't seem like the DC/Bethesda kind of guy... but, he probably just wants to increase his earning power and get his 15 min. of fame... he doesn't actually want to win. I could see him doing a lot of ads for products aimed at mature men/women. He looks like a manly man, but he's well groomed, and women like him too. He could do ads for AARP or Centrum Senior vitamins or cruises for active adults. Use GB to make some cash. Bounce out before you're the only one left waiting for a rose. (Joan would understand since that's what she did!)
Nah, they should save him for GBachelor. They’re not a good match at all.
You're missing the point. Mr. Anderson goes on Golden Bachelorette with NO intention of staying long enough to "win." He gets more exposure and the producers test out his screen persona. He leaves (or tells Joan that they just don't have enough of a connection), with a gentle tear in his eye. He has the caché to command some $$$ as a mature-brands spokesperson/ad guy.... Or, he gets picked to be the next golden bachelor. He isn't going on Joan's season to actually win. He's going on it to boost his "brand" and audition for Golden Bach. (just like Joan did! -- they have a lot in common already).
