Why did he plea the fifth when asked if he planted evidence?

It’s a yes or no question. He was afraid of perjuring  himself which means he probably did plant evidence.

The prison nurse who testified he always collects 8 mm of blood from all his procedures was pressured into changing his testimony and saying  he only collected 6.7 mm of blood from Simpson after 1-2 mm went missing from the lab .
