Ditto! This is making me like APE. The anti-APE-anti-cell-phoners are likely parents who just couldn't effectively manage their kids phone/digital device use and now justify it as impractical/impossible/unrealistic/or even a necessity. I don't care about cell phones per se; but I do care about cell phones in school and they should absolutely be banned during the school day. [/quote]

I'm the parent of 4 high school grads. No, they don't NEED cell phones while they're in class. More and more school districts are restricting them and it won't be long before they are restricted everywhere.
