No way. She’s so so far removed from that. She only dated him to get a music career started since she couldn’t sing ballads well enough to be a vocalist ,  and doesn’t know enough Spanish to be a  Latin singer,  and was too old for the teen bubblegum pop wave.  She needed a style and since she could dance and being from the Bronx hip hop flavor with pop/R&B/Latin mixes became her thing and Diddy was the guy to make that happen. Some would argue this was a big mistake and she should’ve  never got a record deal and just sticked to acting since she was doing well and getting great reviews before her music career. [/quote]

In retrospect, it's kinda looking like JLo and Diddy's relationship was a fake P.R. ship. At the time they shared the same manager, some allegedly gay man named Benny, who has also been accused of vile behavior.
