Because the GOP is getting crushed by middle class surburban women upset by the overturning Roe, the bounty bill in TX, and now the IVF restrictions. They thought that by putting up a white Christian mom, they could staunch the hemorrhaging of support among suburban moms.

Unfortunately, Katie Britt just signifies how shallow their bench is. Bringing out the Senator from Alabama just reminds everyone of their lunatic Supreme Court outlawing IVF. Ideally, you’d have working mom Senator or House Rep from a swing state giving the rebuttal. But the GOP delegation is really just a bunch of old white men and a handful of older women. They don’t have a deep bench that is representative of the U.S. [/quote]
