Homosexuality isn’t immoral. It’s not a sin.
Believe what you want. That’s your right. But our society doesn’t share your beliefs. Society rejects your immoral homosexual acts. Do what you want in the privacy of your bedroom, nobody cares. But don’t force society to condone your immoral acts. They will always be viewed negatively.
Which “society” is that?
The Christian American society.
Which Christians?
I wonder how many people who aren’t Christians are posting in this thread trying to tell Christians how to practice their religious beliefs? Nothing says tolerance like being intolerant. GLBTQ people can be bullies just like any other people. Both gay and straight people can sin by being sexually immoral. Even if someone tells you you’re not sinning, when you are sinning, God still is going to judge you. If you want to pretend you aren’t sinning don’t force others to co-sign your sin. Nobody wants to go down with you because you can’t recognize your own sin, or want people to affirm your sin so it seems ok with God.
Who exactly is "Christian American society"? Is PP speaking for all Christians? How are gay people being "sexually immoral"? How would others "go down with you" if someone doesn't "recognize their own sin"?
You will just continue to not be a Christian, hate Christianity, but demand that Christianity and Christians do and say what you want them to.
They are simple questions.
So are “what is your denomination,” and “are you a Christian,” but you refuse to answer. So are you a Christian and what’s your denomination?
Those questions might be relevant if the thread was about me. But it’s not so… But back to the topic: Who exactly is "Christian American society"? Is PP speaking for all Christians? How are gay people being "sexually immoral"? How would others "go down with you" if someone doesn't "recognize their own sin"?
So you aren’t Christian but are an expert on the Bible, Christianity, and Christians? You are putting your opinions into thr thread as if they are important, but refuse to answer where you got your expert knowledge from. How do you know what the Bible really means but Christians don’t? How are you more knowledgeable than Christians are about their own beliefs?
Please share your knowledge/beliefs: Who exactly is "Christian American society"? Is PP speaking for all Christians? How are gay people being "sexually immoral"? How would others "go down with you" if someone doesn't "recognize their own sin"?
You know more about Christianity than I do. You know more about the Bible, what God said and meant, what Jesus REALLY wants us to do, etc, than all the scholars in the Western world combined. You and many people posting here know stuff that takes other people decades of study and education, and still get wrong! While you, not even a Christian, knows the truth about the Bible and Christianity and Jesus, organically. Have you ever thought about becoming a professor of theology? Lots of folks posting here could be professors of biblical studies or Christian theology. It’s amazing how many people posting here know more than biblical scholars or professors of theology, past or present. Those amazing dcum religious scholars really should stop wasting their knowledge and expertise here and use it to educate students in the classroom. It’s a shame current professors and scholars, who wasted decades of education to learn lies and untruths about the Bible and Christianity, are poisoning the minds of students with untruths. Dcum religious forum atheists should pool their knowledge and start their own educational institution of higher learning. They could turn the tide on the Christian liars and get the real truth out there.
