That’s bullshit though. His biggest supporters are not powerless sad sacks. They are politically connected in their communities - car dealers, realtors, assorted small business hustlers, etc., who don’t want to be taxed or regulated and don’t want to have to hide their bigotry. Lack of any civility or conscience is what unites them. [/quote]

While I believe this is a major part of his base, I’d love to see actual data. I do not believe poor whites break for Biden, particularly in purple or red states.[/quote]
