Lauren wasn’t exactly competing with a ton of other women. She was competing with the women that were (a) willing to sleep with a married man (b) seemingly non threatening to get close to a married man. If Jeff Bezos had actually been fully divorced and single and other women knew that she probably wouldn’t have been the last one standing.
