As a parent with kids at two different Ward 3 schools, I have absolutely no equity-based grounds on which to complain about D.C.'s school funding practices. Whatever needs the the schools up here think we have that the city isn't meeting, the community has no problem whatsoever paying for it, and I'm certainly not going to start advocating for taking money from schools elsewhere in D.C. and sending it to my neighborhood.[/quote]
