The class of 2025 just took the PSAT for national merit a week or two ago. They don’t have any national merit stats for kids selected under the new process.
Um, no. That’s incorrect, but please don’t let me interfere with your alternative facts. https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/education/thomas-jefferson-high-diversity-admissions/2021/06/23/26bb7960-d44b-11eb-ae54-515e2f63d37d_story.html
Your article says nothing at all about PSAT or National merit semifinalists. Since you seem very confused, I'll give you a little info to help you. On Sept 13 of this year, FCPS released the names of the kids who moved on to National Merit Semifinalists. These kids are all in the class of 2024. https://www.fcps.edu/news/264-fcps-students-named-2024-national-merit-semifinalists The class of 2025 just recently took the PSAT for national merit scholarships. They don't even have their scores yet, and nobody has any data on how they compare to previous classes with respect to the PSAT and NMSF status.
