I think people fool themselves into thinking they know what will lead to success in the future.  It's sad that kids and teens are often the ones paying the price for their parents (well-intentioned) economic anxiety and the comfort it brings them to think they've solved the future.[/quote]

Affluent Whites have had the obsession since long time ago when they actually don't even need it.
