The curbside pickup is intended for people who are already there waiting.  Not for those that have to be found inside first.  You could have dropped off your kids and had them walk grandma out while you did another look of the airport.  They could have found a bench to wait on if it took you longer than it took them.

In addition to being a security hazard, cars just sitting there and waiting around for passengers who are still inside the terminal really screw up the flow of traffic for the rest of us.[/quote]
