If you do away with the faculty admissions perk, then you'll be paying all employees higher wages, including those children go to other institutions.  It will cost the institution and the enrolled students a lot more to do away with this perk than it would be to offer the perk and have a small percentage of the staff actually take advantage of the perk.

It's penny-wise and pound foolish to be advocating for doing away with this particular employment perk.[/quote]
