Thanks for yet even more proof that the anti Trumpets have nothing to back up their hatred. I wanted Cruz in 2016 & I like Desantis in 2024. But I can’t help being fascinated by apparently grown adults who say things like the country will be burned down if Trump gets elected, yet are unable to articulate specific reasons for such an extreme response. Aren’t you even a little surprised by your inability to say “Trump’s policy on x was bad” or “He really screwed up y”? I expected dozens of reasons, & so far I see ONE. And as horrible as that one thing is, if it’s true it should result in a long prison sentence, not a burned-down country.
Trump accomplished nothing in his Presidency beyond getting the justices on the court who would overturn Roe. He doesn't actually have any policies to comment upon because he treats the Presidency as an opportunity for self-enrichment and as a reality tv show. His only real objective was using executive orders to try to overturn anything Obama-related because he thought that would get him attention and applause. He's too galactically stupid to have a real agenda otherwise. On a personal level, he's a bully, a sexual predator, a serial liar, juvenile with all his name calling, and a criminal. And, of course, he wants to burn it all down next term as well as use the Presidency to try to escape criminal culpability. What other "policy" has he actually pushing for the last six months? Half his speech is dedicated to whining about the stolen election and the other half is whining about his indictments.
