I think a lot of that data right now includes people who are finding they cannot afford homeowners insurance and therefore see no other option besides moving to a different state.  Assuming they don't want to just rent in Florida but increases in insurance are passed on from owners to renters so there's that.  I'm sure there are also a number of people who want to move somewhere else but data clearly shows that especially in the last few years Florida is a sought after destination.  During the worst of covid Florida represented a place where you could enjoy numerous outdoors activities year round and the schools were not as shut down as other states.  Many did and still do find this very appealing, especially those who can work from anywhere.[/quote]

I'm seeing people squeezed by costs. The 'wants' were fueled by stimulus and cheap leverage. Different dynamics at play now.[/quote]
