Worrying about equity by dumbing down classes, making classes easier and graduation requirements lower, lowering standards when some students do not do the work (that's why there's no more homework), etc. is not good for anyone. A school district can focus on both excellence and equity, one does not need to be sacrificed for the other. That's foolish. [/quote]
