OP did not say yelling occurred. She said her dad called HER and asked the kid to just stop. Kid called grandma and grandma “lectured “ him. OPs 8 year old described his grandparent “yelling” at him, but there is nothing in the post that demonstrates the grandparents actually yelled at the kid.

You are absolutely purposely misrepresenting and providing the one and only line in the whole post where the word “yelling” was used without the context. No where in the post was it said the the kid ever talked to grandpa, so how could grandpa have “yelled” at him? [/quote]

Yup, and you took the one line that used the word “yelled” without the context of the rest of the novel
OP (or you) wrote. You still haven’t addressed the point made several times that the kid never talked to grandpa, so how could he have “yelled” at the kid? And knowing that grandpa never spoke to the kid, it makes the throwaway line that “my parents yelled at him” worthless because we know that can’t be true since the kid never talked to grandpa. Quoting the OP - in her own words - is not misrepresenting anything. It’s not my fault that you didn’t read the whole post.

They were all talking to each other over text and FaceTime. OP said they yelled. If you don’t believe her then why engage on this thread.

Right, like a conversation between DS and Grandpa which included yelling? No need to dig your heels in on that. OP included all the detailed conversations except that one. So you either have to conclude it never happened or imagine a conversation completely left out in the OP which this happened where OP mentioned just once with no support. Either way you're going beyond what's in the OP. The vast majority are concluding it never happened given OPs propensity to write long winded novels sparing no detail. Odd that she would leave out the precise details of when yelling occurred and what was said.[/quote]

A lot more people would actually be on her side if that actually happened. Most of the post is OP complaining about her mom and how it's all her fault. Not the terrible treatment of her son which would be legitimate, if it actually happened. There's zero chance OP would leave those excruciating details out given all the other unnecessary details like whose device was used for each communication.[/quote]
