You can’t have school officials lying and yelling half truths about school safety.  That sets a dangerous precedent.  No matter what their bosses advise them.

Obviously the biggest concern this report is the transfer of a dangerous student who attacked again.  That’s horrendous and likely needs to result in a wholesale policy change if not terminations.  But lying to the public regarding the safety of schools is still dangerous for long term public trust, which is already struggling for public schools. [/quote]
