Nobody without some weird health phobia even cares about COVID anymore. I’ve had it three times. Early 40s. Started running a week out the last time. Long COVID might be a thing but it’s super narrow and over self diagnosed
Have you had your d-dimer checked? I sure would.
DP and you must have seen that on a tweet right? Not an end all be all test and if it’s high they are they going to do a CT scan to confirm bc of liability reasons. Except a high d-dimer might mean something. Or it might not. So now you get to have not 1 but 2 tests that will be charged an excessive fee to insurance and you get a copay. So it’s best to leave medical test suggestions to medical professionals who actually evaluate the person. Oh fun fact! A person can have blood clots and not ever know it. Or sometimes kind of know it bc they have the mildest of symptoms but the clots manage to break up in their own. And this can happen to any person at any time at any level of health - good, fair, poor. Even better - covid vaccines - as well as a lot of other vaccines - carry the risk of blood clots. So yes they can occur with covid. They can also occur for a host of other reasons.
No, this was SOP in India in the first two waves. This person had Covid THREE times. The odds of micro clots are higher than average. I would definitely get this test if it were me.
