Car companies lobbied for years to have complete takeover of the streets and shunt pedestrians to one small area of the road (crosswalk) where they are "allowed" to walk. And then drivers kill kids IN the crosswalk and there are zero repercussions. Seriously bananas. [/quote] You don't always have the right of way just because you are in the crosswalk.
