+1. And while I am certainly not going to defend the practices of Gilead - there are rules. Putnam has already had half his arm removed for his sexual activities with Janine outside of the ceremony. And Putnam AND Waterford tried to blow that off too. It was Nick's mentor (IIRC) that shut down Waterford's minimizing Putnam's conduct in that instance.

Now whether the above turns on how popular you are as a Commander, I'm sure it does. But they will enforce the rules when it suits them.[/quote]
