Good morning, reader! I am wondering about a lot of things, but will pick just one for now -- what can you tell me about the energy surrounding DD especially with regard to her transition to college next month? Thank you!
Unfortunately I cannot read for her as you are the person coming for the reading. I apologize. Do you have a question about a situation in your life?
Hi, thank you so much for responding. I'll rephrase -- What is the current energy surrounding me in regards to my family (i.e., husband and kids - but if you can pick up anything re my family of origin too, I'd be interested). Really appreciate you doing this! It's been fascinating to read your responses.
Hello! I am having a bit of difficulty connecting to this. So while I was trying to hear what I needed to relay to you, I saw 3 white butterflies, tightly knit, fluttering around together and noticed that I was just an observer. I have a sense that you may feel like a bit of an outsider in your family in some ways. However, I don’t feel this is reality, rather it is your perception of it. I feel that you raised your family to help you balance and heal your past. However, now that your kids are older, you seem unsure of who you are again. I am still feeling a bit blocked and leads me to a thought that you may have grown up in a home where your caretakers were emotionally unavailable. This sort of has that energy. The card I pulled that represents your energy is the 6 of Pentacles in reverse. I think you have been giving a lot of yourself for many years and you are not getting enough back to fill you up. It is time to move ahead towards trying new things that could help you feel more balanced and whole internally and that give you a sense of purpose. You may do some of that now, but there is a sense that trying something NEW will help. Get you out of the day to day routine that can become monotonous. The card that represents your families energy is the 5 of Swords. Again, this leads me to believe that you are giving and they are taking and you are drained because of it. I don’t think your family even realizes that this dynamic is happening because you just do it without expectations. So while it is a beautiful thing that you do, there must be some form of reciprocity in order for you to be balanced. If you have not already, opening up and telling them how you are feeling may be a good first step. Sometimes we (and I do this myself!) just expect others to know what we want or need…but that is not reality. So using your voice will be very helpful for you to start getting back what is being taken. The card that represents you in regards to your childhood family is The High Priestess in reverse. I don’t think that you were every really allowed to fully express who you were and that you were supposed to live up to other peoples expectations. I think you did indeed try to do that and when you did meet what was expected of you, there was not much praise for doing so. So even then, you were giving and not getting back. This may have caused you to suppress your true self way down and because of that, in the present, you struggle to understand who you really are. The card that represents what action you could take to move forward is the 4 of Cups in reverse. It’s time to start being an active player. It’s time to do the hard work and uncover all that which is shoved down in your psyche. It’s time to discover who you truly are as a human being, not as a mom, or a friend, or a child, or a wife. The amazing thing is, you can be whoever you want to be! With a bit of hard work, you will get there.
