Appreciate the OPs gift and generosity, but am I the only one that feels her replies are so vague and undefinitive? Beautiful, thoughtful and encouraging responses, but they lack straightforward clarity.
I'm the PP somewhere on page 5 I think who mentioned the OP did a couple email readings for me in the fall, and I do believe she has a gift. She is still honing it by her own admission (hence her generosity and willingness to do this for us all for free), but my initial reading was not vague and definitely not a one-size-fits-all reading. I do imagine it's more difficult to do this over the internet versus in person and there is probably a hesitation (whether conscious or not) to say too much on this board because it's so out in the open, even though we are all anonymous.
Yes, the email readings from the feedback I received was more spot on. However, when I would do one of these, I could take anywhere from 1-1.5 hours for one reading. I would create a personalized spread, meditate for about 15 minutes before pulling numerous cards, and then interpret them while recording it all to send on audio file. I did all those for free as well because I have no intention charging for this. What I do here is not even close to what I did via email. It is much harder to connect due to external distractions and the anonymity of this board. How the question is asked can also throw me as well, or if my rational mind creeps in. That’s a big lesson I need to learn because it can be tricky to discern what is from me and what is from outside me. So while it’s good for me to do these here to help practice, unfortunately there is more of a chance for me not to resonate. I have had people come back later on and say even though it didn’t make sense at first, it did later on. All that said, if it doesn’t resonate, please let me know as well because that helps me understand where I’m going wrong.
That all makes sense, OP, and I thank you again for the insight you have provided thus far. I have to go back and listen to them again but I wouldn't say the second one didn't resonate so much as maybe it wasn't what I wanted to hear? I can't fully remember. Maybe I'll re-listen tonight.
You don't have to re-listen! I mean, if you want to, by all means. I was just saying that in general, I appreciate all feedback. I am sort of learning all this on my own and only just started reading books. The one person I know who gets it is into witchcraft and I am a more skeptical, science minded person (which could also be holding me back a bit as well). So trying to find a mentor with that same mentality is quite difficult! I know there is the Monroe Institute in the Blue Ridge Mountains and I am hoping to be able to take a class there eventually. There is also a wonderful school in the U.K., but that won't happen until my kids are older. I am about to watch a documentary on Amazon called Third Eye Spy and it's all about the research that the government did with remote viewers. I have heard about it, but am so curious to find out more!
