It probably doesn't fit or is uncomfortable.

My husband bought me a lacy babydoll PJ set which in theory I like ok and would wear, but he got a size small.  All my clothes are medium/size 8, so it would have been a very minor lift to check the tag before buying something not in my size.  I wore them a couple of times to be nice but the shorts are too tight in the waist and not comfortable for sleep[/quote]

Unrelated by I intentionally erred on the smaller size for my wife when I first bought her lingerie. She was flattered that I thought she was a small. Better than buying the too large size?
