He'll remarry at some point in the five next years and have a "redo" with a new family. A sweet uncomplicated wife and a few kids who are raised more traditionally (well Hollywood traditionally). Sort of like Lawrence Olivier going from Vivien Leigh to Joan Plowright.
His new Carmel mansion would be ideal for this. Yowza. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11051057/Brads-Pacific-paradise-retreat-Pitt-splashes-40m-historic-house-celebrity-haven.html
He spends like a billionaire. Is he really that rich?
If he invested well early enough he probably is. He became rich long ago.
That makes sense, and he lived pretty modestly pre-family. I did read recently that all the Miraval profits go back into the estate and his production company has made no money at all, plus millions for lawyers fighting Jolie, so I was wondering. A 20 million payday sounds incredible but after taxes and agent cuts, a couple of $40 million properties that require expensive maintenance seems like a lot.
