Since kids outgrow their clothes so quickly, better made clothes will still have plenty of life left. Also, another one of my values is not wasting money. But see, I also don't hang out with country club people (we do belong to the club where we own our second home because it allows us to ski and swim, but at home we use an inexpensive neighborhood pool), so maybe that's where PP and I have diverged.
