As long as politicians make it sound like the US supports and welcomes undocumented immigrants, this will continue.  Read this article about the family from India who died trying to walk across the Canadian border in January 2022.

These deaths are senseless and tragic.  The family had a comfortable life in India, but had ideas that they could easily come and be successful in the IS as undocumented immigrants.  This has to end.  [/quote]
