I'm a legal secretary and no I don't want a JD. Graduated from college with good enough grades to go to law school, started studying for LSATs while working at a law firm to get a taste of what it's all about. It didnt' take me very long to rule out law school, I didn't want the educational expense and certainly don't want the stress of being a BigLaw lawyer (which is what I would have sought to do). The only thing nice about it that I've seen is the money but at what cost?[/quote]
