My take on the Royal family is very boring: the British aristocracy have been like this literally forever. barely a year goes by without a series of movie about them or their forebears. IT's just the way it is. Less murder these days.

+1 re Bill and Hillary.  I think they both agreed that it would be "her turn" after his presidency, so she was faced with two choices: (1) leave him, thereby creating more controversy, have the jilted ex-wife label for the rest of her life, and navigate electoral politics on her own, or (2) stay together, move past the cheating narrative, and have his/his team/Bill-friendly party infrastructure help launch her political career in NY.  Add in the love/affection that I do think existed between them at some point, and she chose (2).[/quote]
