DC area rankings for the week of March 27th. (WCAC, IAC, NOVA Publics) 1. SJC: continues to show the country they are deserving of their #1 ranking with a victory over Hill Academy (Canada). Big week for the Cadets with games against PVI and Gonzaga this week. 2. Gonzaga: Purple Eagles had a gritty comeback on Friday night vs PVI in the 4th quarter. A monster game looms in the shadows vs their crosstown rival, SJC, but first a game vs Culver Academy this afternoon on Eye Street. 3. Georgetown Prep: The mighty Hoyas have won 5 straight since dropping their 2 opening games. GP took down Western Reserve earlier in the week, a strong program from Ohio and Westminster from the New England West division yesterday. A huge contest vs Brunswick looms later this week. 4. Paul VI: The Panthers proved they are for "real" this Spring on Friday night. Panthers squandered a monster lead against Gonzaga but look to bounce back this week with upcoming games against SJC and Landon. 5. St. Stephens: The Saints rolled through the Lone Star last week and picked up good W's against Dallas Jesuit and Highland Park. The Saints have won 5 straight since dropping a contest to PVI. 6. Bullis: Despite the loss to Culver, the Bulldogs were able to compete for a half before being blown out after the break. Bellistri's Bulldogs are super young this Spring and are in a rebuilding mode. Big contest vs Malvern Prep the 2nd half of this week. 7. Landon: Da Bears picked up road wins against STAB and Norfolk Academy. The Bears face off against DeMatha and PVI this week. 8. St Albans: Bulldogs are cruising in the Tar Heel. Hard to really say how strong STA is given their schedule. STA won't be challenged until IAC league play begins in April. 9. DeMatha: Since the SJC loss, the Stags have won 3 straight. The Bears and the Stags will clash in their annual battle on Tuesday 10. Robinson: The NOVA public school power has good win's over Yorktown and Madison.
The Heights would beat Robinson by at least half a dozen
