Magnets discriminate against Asian candidates. LGTBQ students face bullying by students. Students with disabilities were denied FAPE during online learning and have not received services to catch up. Looking at the OCR filings, MCPS has a problem with retaliation when discrimination is reported. There’s a culture of fighting people who come forward versus fixing what is broken. Many in Central Office are to blame for this toxic culture in the school system.[/quote]
